Television & Radio
Several members of the group have made appearances on television, radio and broadcast media.
- On Friday 12th October, Dr Simon Jolly gave a lecture at The Royal Institution on Proton Beam Therapy: How the Large Hadron Collider Cures Cancer that was chaired by Dr Chamkaur Ghag. Both the main lecture on Proton Beam Therapy and the follow-up Q&A session are available on the Royal Institution YouTube channel.
- On 26th April 2018, Dr Simon Jolly took part in the BBC Radio 4 series In Our Time, alongside Prof. Frank Close from Oxford and Dr Helen Heath from Bristol to discuss The Proton. The episode can also be downloaded (with added bonus discussion) through the BBC In Our Time Podcast.
- On 9th May 2017, Dr Simon Jolly was interviewed by BBC World News about the completion of Linac 4, the new injector for the LHC. You can watch the video of the interview here (video courtesy of BBC World News).
