Minutes for UCL Proton Beam Therapy Group Meetings, 8th April

  • 3d print one or two more pcb holders for Prague if he have some new injection mould sheets from Nuvia to test
  • Just need to make covers for windows with alignment, everything else is in the case

Sonia Escribano

  • GUI acquisition stop button
  • Loaded firmware onto FPGA with Matt
  • Have kept boards assembled in way left by Matt
  • Testing photodiodes on all boards
  • Setting up with 5 boards, automatically assigned to 190us
  • Hardcode in c++ ftdi codes, a warning if integration time is set too low for number of boards and make visible on GUI
  • On gui - limit integration depending on number of boards - and put this code into java script
  • Don’t currently have option gui to select number of boards - have GUI report the number of boards but not to set the number of boards
  • With dual board readout - modify livePlot and see one of the Bragg peaks on top of the other form the other board
  • Once FTDI folder is complete it can all be tested with DAQ laptop and pi5 and will then be uploaded to GitHub so can be tested on Joes laptop etc
  • Simon to check the routing of the cabling
