Minutes for UCL Proton Calorimetry Meetings, 19th January

  • Sent Simon 1-page research summary for new HEP website.
  • Investigated using central stripe of Nikon images and NEF format images – no change in PDL recovered.
  • Installed GEANT4 V11.0 on laptop.
    • Will work from basic examples B1 and B4c to rebuild Laurent's simulation.
    • Unable to compile and run Laurent's simulation – Raffy investigating this.
    • Will ask Matthieu/Jeremy about supported versions of GEANT4 with EasyBuild on HEP cluster.
  • Need to test Naoki's code and get back in touch with Matt Warren about USB104 USB problems.
  • Will be submitting abstracts to PTCOG59 (deadline 8th Feb), PM 2022 (deadline 20th Feb) and CALOR 2022 (deadline 8th April)
