Details of the formats used in the various data files produced when taking data with the QuARC.
Calibrated Data Files
The calibrated data files contain a header, each of the individual PD measurements after calibration and background subtraction and the average value of these measurements + its error.

DATA
Every line is an individual PD measurement calibrated and with background subtracted.
Usually 30k lines.
AVERAGE
Average of all the individual PD measurements.
Error of the average measurement.
Fitted Data Files
The fitted data file averages the individual measurements at a specified frequency (the default is 25 Hz) and performs a fitting procedure, that varies if we have pristine BP or SOBP:
- Pristine BP: each of the averaged measurements is individually fitted to Bortfeld + Kelleter and then the energy and range values are extracted. The final measurement includes the average of the PD with its correspondent fittings and values.
- SOBP: the averaged measurements are NOT fitted, their curves show 0s. The final averaged value is fitted.
