Minutes for UCL Proton Beam Therapy Group Meetings, 4th September

  • Meeting with Sonia and Joe on Wednesday 18th Sept after PBT meeting to discuss goals, milestones and future plans etc.

Sonia Escribano

  • First session of DKFZ Summer School on Monday
  • Starting final year of current UCL contract - would like to initiate discussions on next steps after contract ends
  • A new error message is now showing on the web GUI when attempting connect to FPGA on Clatterbridge module - suggestion from Simon to attempt to connect to FPGA that Matt has been working on instead

Joe Bateman

  • First session of DKFZ Summer School on Monday
  • Looking at Geant4 DICOM example as well as what other software environment needs to be sourced from CVMFS for Geant4 environment sourcing script
  • Reached out to Ilaria Rinaldi and Giorgio from Maestro to discuss more about using FRED i.e. about graphics cards etc
  • Look into what would be the best way to run FRED at UCL
