• Learning basics of Autodesk Inventor.
• Rebuilt some CAD models from Jordan Silverman.
• Next steps:
  • SJ will arrange account on plus1.
  • SJ has emailed latest CAD files for model.
  • Open model and create Inventor project.
  • Check model for consistency; create git repository.

SS:

• Overhauling Dan Walker's code: improving data storage and smoothing data handling.
• Can reproduce spectra.
• Experimental setup is ready for testing.
• Next steps:
  • Use ROOT file explorer to load in multiple files using ROOT boost class.
  • Pile-up filtering needs improving: look into using ROOT machine learning capabilities.
  • Iron out bugs with Eclipse...
  • Contact Tony Price once he's back from holiday to arrange experimental visit.

MH:

• Working on proton CT reconstruction:
  • Possible to combine multiple projections manually.
  • Questions about necessary proton flux.
